What does GLEEN do?
GLEEN seeks to work with local Councils and other partners to:
- develop ideas into practical projects
- assist in funding submissions
- establish effective partnerships
- manage projects and deliver local authority grant programmes
- facilitate information exchange.
Current priority work areas are:
- information and communication
- fuel poverty
- energy performance certificates for the social housing sector (see our EPC Manager page for more details).
GLEEN has set up an Energy Service Company called HelpCo, which offers a range of energy services to householders. For more information see HelpCo’s website, www.helpco.org.uk (also under construction).
