Easy Measures Scheme
GLEEN has been delivering small low cost measures to local residents on behalf of their local authority for several years. Measures include reflective radiator panels, low energy lightbulbs, savaflushes, and hot water tank jackets. Enhanced packages include electricity cost monitors and other measures at the request of the local authority. GLEEN has delivered this type of scheme in the London Boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark, Redbridge, Waltham Forest, and in the Surrey boroughs of Reigate and Banstead, Tandridge, Epsom and Ewell and Mole Valley. GLEEN is now assisting in the delivery of a demonstration project, which could lead to the launch of a Londonwide scheme.
Home Surveys
GLEEN can providing additional surveying services for local authorities including Decent Homes / HHSRS assessments, stock condition surveys, fire safety checks, etc.
Consultancy
GLEEN offers consultancy services, including assistance with energy efficiency or fuel poverty strategies, project development, effective partnership building and research.
Examples of previous consultancy include:
- Production of Affordable Warmth Strategy for London (GLA)
- Feasibility Study into funding streams for major refurbishment of Council Housing (Enfield Homes)
- Stock condition updates (Tandridge District Council)
London Carbon Action Network
